The most sustainable shoe is the one you don’t have to replace. That idea shapes how we build, and how we try to keep shoes out of landfill once you own them.
Our resoleable trail and alpine construction (see our Resole Program) means an outsole can be rebuilt instead of the whole shoe replaced. Peak Club members get one free resole a year on eligible pairs.
We ship in right-sized boxes to cut void fill and packaging waste, and our mailers are made from recycled content and are curbside recyclable.
We don’t think it’s honest to call any shoe fully sustainable yet. Our road and street outsoles aren’t resoleable today, and we don’t currently run a take-back or recycling program for end-of-life shoes. Both are active projects for us, and we’ll update this page as they ship.
If you want more detail on a specific material or process, reach out, and we’re happy to talk specifics.
